Common Name: Aponogeton Ulvaceus

Aponogeton Ulvaceus is a very large aquatic bulb plant with leaves that grow in a twisted curly manner. Its bright green leaves are slightly translucent and grow from a long sturdy stem shooting out of the bulb. It is considered an easy aquatic plant to keep and can withstand a wide range of water parameters. Like most Aponogeton species, Aponogeton Ulvaceus grows very large and is suitable for larger planted aquariums!

Half of the bulb should be buried into the substrate to facilitate growth. Avoid completely burying the bulb as this can promote bulb rot. 

Notes:

• Do not make drastic changes to the aquarium. Unstable parameters will result in melt and rotting of the aquarium plant.
• Aponogeton grows fairly large making this aquarium plant suitable for larger planted aquariums.

Micranthemum ‘Monte Carlo” originates from Argentina, serving as an excellent aquatic foreground plant. When provided with ample lighting and nutrients, Monte Carlo forms a lush green carpet with small, rounded leaves that are bright green in color. The red variation of Cryptocoryne Wendtii is quite popular and can be used in a variety of aquatic landscapes. Its leaves have a unique look with slightly wavy edges, and some even appear dimpled or blistered. When exposed to good lighting, these leaves take on a deep, dark red color, creating a striking contrast when paired with green water trumpets.

What sets this Cryptocoryne apart, similar to other Cryptocoryne species from Sri Lanka, is its ability to thrive in hard water conditions. This makes it an ideal choice for aquariums housing cichlids, which often require specific water chemistry.

Like other Crypts, it grows at a moderate rate and can be grown both submerged and emersed.  To propagate, simply cut off new plantlets growing from the mother rhizome.

Common Name: Water Sprite, Lace Leaf

Water Sprite also known as Indian Fern, is an easy aquatic plant that can be commonly found floating in lakes and ponds throughout the world.  Water Sprite's rooting system is weaker than other aquatic plants, so it relies on absorbing nutrients through its leaves through the water column. This floating stem plant is an excellent addition for shrimp and fish breeders. It grows fast to absorb excess waste and nutrients from the water column while also providing hiding places for fry or shrimplets.

The Red Root Floater is a beautiful floating plant with light green leaves that can turn blood red when kept under high light. What makes this plant unique and highly sought after are the blood red roots that it has compared to the usual brown roots of other floaters.
