Monte Carlo is a beloved carpeting plant that forms a dense, trailing mat of small, bright green leaves across the foreground. Known for its ease of use and compact growth, it spreads naturally in deep soil aquariums β no COβ, no ferts, just healthy roots and time.
Ideal for both beginners and advanced aquascapers, Monte Carlo is the go-to choice for creating a lawn-like carpet that softens hardscape and supports shrimp colonies.

I've never used Monte Carlo or any ground covering plants before in any of my aquariums. Any kind of moss or draping type plants I usually glue and hang them onto a piece of Driftwood to drape down over into the Aquascape. These Monte Carlo at first I thought were tiny cups with barely anything in them but once I use my tweezers and planted them individually into the middle of my Aquascape where it was a little more wide open. I could see that there is quite a bit of Monte Carlo plant there and in a week's time or more they have really blossomed and are trying to reach the light. They're growing quite nicely. I will say however that they are a little lighter green than I'd like and probably need some nutrients.
Looks amazing
This arrived in great condition. I split it up and planted right away. Itβs been a week now and already seeing signs of quality growth.
The monte Carlo cup arrived damp and healthy
