How to use

1. Spread about 1 inch of soil across the tank bottom.
2. Cap with ~2 inches of pool filter sand (do not rinse the soil).
3. Plant heavily on day one—stems, swords, crypts; mount rhizomes (Anubias) on wood/rock.
4. Fill slowly, run a sponge filter, and avoid disturbing the cap.

Tips: For tanks slightly larger than 35 gal, add a cup of plain peat or potting soil if coverage is under 1 inch and mix well. For very small tanks, use less than 1 inch of soil.
