Perfect for shrimp tanks, betta tanks, and low-tech planted setups, this fast-spreading floater provides shade, nutrient control, and surface cover β€” without COβ‚‚, chemicals, or fertilizer.

Naturally grown and pesticide-free, Salvinia thrives in tanks that follow the Father Fish method and helps reduce algae by absorbing excess nutrients.

If you live a distance from this shop your best bet is to pay the extra shipping to get your stuff sent sooner. I live in east texas and the plants came after 5 days with priority mail. Father fish will replace items ONCE only. My first order with father fish was my first anywhere outside of amazon two day so i didnt have experience with it. My first order also fell on memorial day weekend which i wrongly assumed was the reason my plants did so poorly. However- the replacement shipment took the same amount of time and also arrived with the plants in bad shape. No more replacements I was made aware. Had i realized it wasnt just the extra day (memorial day) i wouldve paid extra for the replacements to be sent faster. No one at Father Fish is going to suggest you do this. I wish they had as i sunk $200 into getting pretty much nothing. The snails were in great condition though.

Almost every bit of the salvinia was completely melted and brown liquid. It was probably because it was packed in a flat baggie. Salvinia does not like its leaves wet on top. I'm trying to salvage a few leaves. It spreads pretty quickly
