Temple Green (Hygrophila corymbosa) is a classic, easy-care stem plant loved for its large, lush green leaves and strong, upright growth. This hardy stem plant makes an excellent background or corner feature, creating vertical interest and helping absorb excess nutrients to keep your tank balanced.

Temple Green thrives in deep, enriched substrate setups like the Father Fish method, and does not need COβ‚‚ or bottled fertilizers to grow beautifully. It’s perfect for beginners and hobbyists wanting a fast-growing, reliable plant for natural aquascapes.

🌱 Key Features:

  • Bold, bright green leaves with sturdy stems

  • Fast-growing β€” excellent for nutrient control

  • Perfect for background planting

  • Supports a healthy ecosystem by shading algae

  • Thrives in deep soil tanks β€” no COβ‚‚ needed

🧠 Father Fish Tip:

Plant Temple Green in groups along the back or sides of your tank. Pinch the tops to encourage bushier growth and prevent the lower stems from shading out.

πŸ“¦ What You’ll Receive:

  • A fresh, naturally grown portion of Temple Green (3–5 strong stems)

  • Grown chemical-free and shrimp-safe

  • Rooted and ready to plant β€” no COβ‚‚ required

You know I have bought plants online a few times before Father Fish and they've always come really sickly, diseased, or very small. This plant that was sent was luscious, green with a thick stem and lots of leaves. I am pleasantly surprised and how beautiful the plants are that I get from Father Fish. It's well worth the extra shipping to have it sent so that I know I'm putting in quality plants in my aquarium.
